The American High School Diploma represents completion of a full four-year high school programme (Grades 9-12), requiring credits across core subjects and electives. It's a globally recognised qualification accepted by universities in the US and internationally.

Cognia (formerly AdvancED) is the world's largest accrediting body for schools, covering 36,000+ institutions across 85 countries. A Cognia-accredited diploma is recognised by US universities, the NCAA, and international institutions. It ensures your child's qualification carries weight globally.

Yes. The American High School Diploma is recognised by Universities South Africa (USAf) for exemption purposes. Students need qualifying SAT scores or at least two AP subjects passed at grade 3 or higher, in addition to the diploma, to apply for a certificate of exemption through USAf's Matriculation Board.

CambriLearn offers NCAA-approved courses for student-athletes pursuing Division I and II collegiate sports in the US. Students must complete 16 NCAA-approved core courses, maintain a minimum GPA, and register with the NCAA Eligibility Center. We recommend registering before Grade 9.

Students accumulate credits across subject areas throughout high school. Core requirements typically include four years of English (4 credits), three to four years of Mathematics, three years of Science (3 credits), and three years of Social Studies (3 credits). The remaining credits come from electives. One credit represents approximately 150 hours of study.

Pricing depends on grade and subjects selected. Additional costs may include SAT registration, AP examination fees, and the USAf exemption application fee. View pricing for full details, or speak with a consultant for a personalised quote.

No, they're fundamentally different. The American High School Diploma represents completion of a full four-year programme requiring credits. The GED is an equivalency test for adults who did not complete high school. The diploma represents a complete educational journey and carries more weight with universities.

CambriLearn's US K-12 curriculum is delivered through Score Academy Online, a Cognia-accredited institution. Students completing the programme earn an American High School Diploma. For South African university admission, graduates must obtain a USAf certificate of exemption, which requires qualifying SAT scores or at least two AP subjects passed at grade 3 or higher. NCAA eligibility requires separate registration with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
